A FORMULA FOR GROWTH
North America, Western Europe, Japan and emerging
economies in Asia and Latin America are some of the
major markets for Indian chemicals.
The US, the Netherlands and China are the leading
export destinations for Indian inorganic, organic &
agro chemicals. Exports to the Netherlands grew by
about 25.6 per cent between 2007–08 and 2011–12.
There is global demand for Indian chemical products
due to their high quality and competitive pricing.
India's expertise in manufacturing low-cost yet
high-end chemical products, coupled with world-class
infrastructure, is the main growth factor.
India is one of the most dynamic producers of
pesticides, with more than 60 technical grade
pesticides being manufactured indigenously by
125 producers.
ADVANTAGE INDIA
