Brand India Pharma again intends to make its presence felt at CPhI Worldwide scheduled from October 22-24, 2013, at Frankfurt, Germany. CPhI Worldwide is the largest global pharma exhibition. India has articulated a sectoral Brand India Pharma campaign to ensure a better understanding of Indian pharma globally and highlight the critical role it can play in meeting the challenging healthcare demands of both the developed and developing world. This campaign is a significant initiative led by Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) and India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) under the aegis of the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Over 200 Indian pharma companies are participating at the Exhibition and the Indian delegation will be led by Mr Sudhanshu Pandey, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. With a strategic mix of branding elements like on-ground branding, media interactions, business seminar and participation in key events, Brand India Pharma aims to showcase the strengths of the Indian pharma industry. It is important to note that the pre-event press releases and Experience India visit have resulted in generating a lot of buzz about the Indian presence at CPhI Worldwide 2013 Frankfurt.
