India makes an impact as the first Focus Country at the recently concluded CPhI Worldwide 2012, where our presence was led by over 200 Indian companies. The official Indian delegation was led by Mr S R Rao, Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, accompanied by senior officials of the Ministry, who effectively resonated the core value proposition that Brand India Pharma stands for. The IBEF publication, The Best of India in Pharmaceuticals, which was released at CPhI Worldwide, has been extremely well received, with exhibitors seeking more than a copy to promote Brand India Pharma globally.
The India Theme Pavilion saw numerous hectic and engaging buyer-seller meetings between the pharma industry from India and from across the globe. These in a way portrayed the global value proposition that Brand India Pharma offers to the world.
