The online matrimony market in India is currently worth Rs 400 crore. The industry has been through a transformational shift in terms of consumer preference. Around a decade ago, internet was not considered a choice for finding a life partner. It was one of the choices around five years back. Today, it has become a primary choice for someone who finds a life partner. Going forward, the technology evolution for this industry is expected to continue. The mobile revolution is expected to further speed up the growth of the industry. As users are connected to the 3G and 4G networks throughout the day, mobiles will create better facilitation of services for companies like us.

We are a leader in this space with a 60 per cent market share. We are the largest and the most trusted name in the online matrimony space. has been a great journey. It started as a one man show and never expected initially that it would be so big. What was an idea became a passion and today passion became a purpose. The purpose is to create a better bharat through happy marriages. We have passionately build on this idea to help millions of people to find their life partner. We pioneered the concept of online matrimony in India and has now evolved into various forms of services. We have expanded our presence to over 170+ retail outlets across the country. We also have other forms of services like assistance matrimony, allied matrimony et al.

The ecosystem for Indian entrepreneurs has changed drastically over the past few years. Investors are looking for good entrepreneurs and if you are in the market with a good idea, people are willing to invest in the start-ups. Today, the internet user base in India is substantial. There is still a long way to go before we match the scale of Silicon Valley in the west, but the good thing is that the first few steps have already been taken in that direction.
