India could become an engine for global economic revival, according to Mr D Subbarao, governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI, the central bank), who attended the G-20 meet held recently in London.

The Indian automobile industry awaits the launch of the Nano today as eagerly as the rest of the world. The Nano, which is expected to reach a milestone by capturing people's imaginations and pockets, is being touted as the world's cheapest car and even as an alternative to other segments in the automobile industry.
