The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) and its subsidiaries, collectively known as Taj Group, is one of Asia's largest and finest hotel groups. The company was incorporated by the founder of the Tata group, Jamsetji Tata and launched its first property, the Taj Mahal Palace, in Bombay in 1903.

IHCL has 93 hotels across 55 locations in India, and 16 international hotels spread across Maldives, Malaysia, Australia, UK, USA, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Africa and the Middle East, offering traditional Indian hospitality, modern luxury and world-class service.

IHCL operates in the luxury, premium, mid-market and value market segments through various brands such as Taj, Taj Exotica, Taj Safari, Vivanta, Gateway Hotel and Ginger. The company also operates Taj Air, a luxury private jet operation and Taj Sats Air Catering Ltd, the largest airline catering service in South Asia.
