Mumbai: Global hotel chain Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Palm Grove Beach Hotels Pvt. Ltd -- hospitality arm of K Raheja Constructions Group -- to open the first Conrad hotel in India. Conrad - the luxury brand of Hilton Worldwide - will be launched in Pune, Maharashtra next year.
"Pune is a key gateway destination and we are delighted to establish our brand's presence in India, one of the key strategic growth markets for Hilton Worldwide, starting with this wonderful city," said John T. A. Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands, Hilton Worldwide.
The hotel will be easily accessible from the commercial and entertainment hubs and government institutions of Pune.
"The signing of this agreement reiterates our commitment to developing Hilton Worldwide's portfolio of brands in India," said Martin Rinck, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton Worldwide.
The hotel will offer 310 guestrooms, six F&B outlets, conference and events space and luxurious full-service spa and salon.

Hilton Worldwide operates brands like Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton, Double Tree by Hilton and Double Tree Suites by Hilton.
