Rajasthan cabinet approves Rs 1,56,000 crore (US$ 24.42 billion) worth solar projects of 26,000MW

Jaipur: Government of Rajasthan has cleared Rs 1,56,000 crore (US$ 24.42 billion) worth investments in solar energy sector in the state. The investments will be utilised to set up solar parks having total capacity of generating 26,000 MW of solar energy.
Parliamentary affairs minister Mr Rajendra Rathore informed that the solar parks, being set up under the ‘Rajasthan Solar Energy Policy 2014’, will be set up by four companies in the state.
