Ramco Systems signs HR outsourcing deal with Vopak’s Asia division

New Delhi: Chennai-based software solutions firm Ramco Systems Ltd informed the BSE that it has signed a five-year contract with the Asia division of Netherlands-based Koninklijke Vopak NV, the world’s largest independent tank storage provider, to integrate a part of its regional human resource functions into a single platform.

Under the contract, Ramco’s human capital management (HCM) solution and human resource outsourcing services will be made available to over 700 Vopak employees across eight entities in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and India.

Virender Aggarwal, chief executive officer of Ramco Systems, said, “Our ability to address every need of the HR (human resources) community with a combination of platform, product and service is helping us get the winning edge in a cluttered market.”

Since the global launch of its cloud-based human resource and talent management software, Ramco has added on an average one customer a week, including Fortune 100 and multinational brands across the globe, the company said.

At 2.41pm, the company’s shares were up 5% at Rs.390.90 apiece, while the benchmark Sensex index gained 0.19% to 26,440.18 points.
