Redington India to acquire 70% of Linkplus Bilgisayar of Turkey

Mumbai: Redington (India) Ltd, a supply chain solutions company, has agreed to acquire 70% of Linkplus Bilgisayar Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AS of Turkey for an undisclosed amount.

In its filing to BSE, Redington said its stepdown subsidiary Redington Gulf FZE has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 70% of Linkplus and this proposed acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals of authorities in Turkey.

Established in 1995, Linkplus is a leading distributor of Oracle software in Turkey.

“The balance 30% will be acquired over a three-year period. The company has been valued around 6x future earnings,” Redington said in its Wednesday filing.

Redington provides end-to-end supply chain solutions for all categories of IT products (personal computers, networking, software and enterprise solution products) and consumer and lifestyle products (telecom, digital lifestyle products, entertainment products and digital printing machines) to over 100 international brands.
