Triumph Motorcycles opens dealership in Kochi

Chennai: Iconic British motorcycle brand Triumph Motorcycles India has opened its dealership facility in Kochi, called Syamadynamic Motorcycles. This is the third dealership for Triumph Motorcycles in India, the first two being in Bangalore and Hyderabad which were launched in January this year.

The brand has clocked 326 bookings across five model categories. Three showrooms will be set up in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmadabad by May 2 as part of the nine dealerships planned for this year.

Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles India, said: "Our strategy is to align our presence across all strategic locations. This is necessary for us to gain competitive advantage and generate strong brand eminence. The dealership will not only act as a platform to sell motorcycles but also as the perfect place for Triumph bike enthusiasts to connect with one another and share their love for riding."

"The experiential consumer rides offered at Triumph dealerships in Hyderabad and Bangalore has yielded excellent results and there has been a substantial jump of nearly 40% new enquiries in Bangalore and Hyderabad and we expect to see the same trend in Kochi as well. We are also confident that the booking trend will continue to improve as we move closer to the start of sales with six functional dealerships across key cities within the next one month," he said.

The Kochi dealership has a showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory.

The design of the showroom is based on the global signature Triumph Motorcycles layout with consultation lounge, sales and after sales desks all being close to the display area.

The dealership boasts of 'Build your own bike' facility, a novel concept in the premium and luxury motorcycle segment.

The dealership will have an array of Triumph merchandise which includes riding gear, accessories and memorabilia.
