Vestas to supply 46 MW turbines for wind power project in Karnataka

Copenhagen: Vestas Wind Systems, one of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer, has received a contract to provide total 46 megawatt turbine capacity for a wind project in the southern state of Karnataka in India. The order will include supply of 23 units of the V110-2.0 MW turbine model. The contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a 15-year service agreement. Installation of the turbines as well as commissioning is expected during the second quarter of FY2016.
