Latin America imports Leather & Leather Products to the tune of US$ 8.67 billion, with a share of about 5% in the global import of leather and leather products valued at US$ 180.58 billion in 2016. Latin America has been identified as a focus market by the Government of India.

India exports leather & leather products worth US$ 100 million to Latin American Countries. India’s export of leather & leather products to Peru has increased from US$ 2.57 mn in 2010 to US$ 8.67 in 2016 with a share of 2.03% in Peru’s import of leather & leather products of $ 426.4 in 2016.

The Council for Leather Exports (CLE), is participating in the Expo Fair on August 2-4 2017, at the Jockey Convention Centre, LIMA-PERU.
