proves its commitment to
reforms through a forward
looking Budget.

with Sustained Reforms
T
he Government of India has presented a vision-
ary roadmap for development through its
Budget document, which has been appreciated
across the board. Presenting the Union Budget
2015-16 in Lok Sabha on February 28, Finance
Minister Arun Jaitley said that the government aims for
double-digit growth, which is feasible in a few years. Earlier,
granting more powers to states, the government indicated its
preference for a more federalised governance structure and
embraced them as equal partners in India’s enhanced growth
targets. In the past few months, a slew of targetted measures
have been announced by the government to ensure that the
business environment becomes more open and conducive for
both national and global enterprises and the investor commu-
