Counting...
InMobi, a leading mobile ad platform recently
connected to over one billion consumers and
is now preparing for the next leap.

hat does it take to
create an indepen-
dent and successful
mobile advertising
platform? Have
the right mix of devices, bandwidth and
revenue-generating ads, backed by a
developer community and a fine distri-
bution model. Naveen Tewari figured
this out early in his career and stuck to
the combo when he started InMobi in
2009. It proved to be the right
mantra,
for InMobi managed to connect to the
demand pie.
The timing was perfect and it grew
into the world’s largest independent
mobile advertising firm. InMobi recent-
ly made headlines as it reached over one
billion consumers, 60 per cent of all
smartphone users across 165 countries.
Over 100 million consumers interact
with InMobi at least six times per day
and so far, this has been the only mobile-
first ad platform to reach this milestone.
