Mahindra Construction Equipment entered the industry in 2011. It is the first Indian company to indigenously develop construction equipment. The company's strategy team is headquartered in Mumbai and the EarthMaster Backhoe Loader is manufactured at their state-of-the-art facility in Chakan, Pune. Spread over 30 acres, the plant uses solar panels and a hydro-pneumatic pumping system to power its advanced robotics with clean energy. Also, their fully automatic welding unit enables a high level of precision in the construction of backhoe loaders.
