Daimler India gets its first BS-VI certificate for tractor model 5528TT

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has received its first BS-VI readiness certification for heavy-duty tractor trailer model – 5528TT. The 5528TT, which is focused at applications like bond, bulkers, steel curls, tankers and other heavy load transportation, got homologation endorsement from Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).

Commenting on the development, DICV Managing Director and CEO Satyakam Arya said," at DICV, we completely use our expertise and experience from Daimler's global platforms for BS VI. Moreover, our in-house R&D focus gives us the advantage in customizing stages for nearby obligation cycle and usage patterns."
The BharatBenz BS-VI engine and after-treatment framework are built on the specific reactant decrease (SCR) based innovation which the brand pioneered since introduction of BS-IV in 2017, it added.

"Like BS IV, BharatBenz will lead the path with the presentation of BS VI. Which will test its very own initiative position in fuel efficiency with our BS VI trucks towards new benchmark. We are pleased to get the BS VI readiness affirmation for BharatBenz 5528TT model,"
