Dyson marks India as a global priority market, plans product and retail expansion: APAC president

Dyson, a premium home and a personal care brand, has seen demand for its products move up exponentially as the country moved through the period of pandemic where do-it-yourself (DIY) became the norm as homes turned into offices and schools during the period of lockdowns and mobility restrictions.

The British consumer electronics behemoth has had a solid run in the last four years, and is now not just bringing products here with worldwide launches, but also expanding its retail presence, according to Mr. Tomás Centeno, President for the Asia-Pacific region, Dyson.

Dyson has been introducing the latest worldwide launches to India through their portfolio of products in the range of hair care, air purification, and cord-free vacuums. The response received is great so far. With 19 Dyson demo stores in India, the company has been able to provide a first-hand experience of their products to their customers.

Dyson currently has three stores in India and 19 demo stores with more opening in 2022. The company also has presence with partners including Croma, Reliance Digital, etc. India is a country with an estimated population of approximately 1.3 billion people. This gives Dyson huge potential to expand and grow its presence in India.
