UPI accounted for 85.5% of digital transaction volume in H2 2025: RBI report
India’s digital payments ecosystem continued its rapid expansion in H2 2025, with UPI accounting for 85.5% of total transaction volume, strengthening its position as the backbone of the country’s retail digital payments infrastructure.
