RBI is focusing on enabling UPI and e-rupee interoperability, says RBI Deputy Governor

According to the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Mr. Rabi Sankar, the Reserve Bank of India is focusing on enabling interoperability with the United Payments Interface (UPI) with the e-rupee, the central bank's digital currency.
He added that the nation was on track to complete one million retail e-rupee transactions per day.
