Wholesale price-based inflation (WPI) declined for the second successive month to its 23-month low of 2.02 per cent in June, helped by decrease in prices of vegetables just as fuel and power things.
The Wholesale Price Index (WPI)- based inflation was at 2.45 per cent in May. It was 5.68 per cent in June 2018. In April 2019, WPI inflation data has improved upwards to 3.24 per cent from provisional 3.07 per cent.

"An aggregate of 80.46 GW of renewable energy limit has been introduced in the country as on June 30, 2019 which includes 29.55 GW from Solar and 36.37 GW from Wind control," according to Power and New and Renewable Energy Minister Mr. R K Singh.
Delhi RTR flyover opens, to ease connectivity to Gurgaon, IGI airport
The Rao Tula Ram (RTR) flyover is now open to public thus making commuting to the Delhi domestic and international airport terminals from South and East Delhi and Noida easier. The roads raised than other roads are now open to the public, on the route to the Delhi domestic and international airport terminals from South and East Delhi and Noida. This will make the journey easier. The flyover on Outer Ring Road will also work to improve the journey to Gurgaon.
Cabinet approves investments in India's largest hydropower plant
The estimated total expense of project is Rs 28080.35 crore (US$ 3.9 billion) and the estimated finishing time period for the project will be nine years from receipt of Government sanction.
The project will produce 2880 mw (12x240 mw) power and is the biggest ever hydroelectric power project to be developed in India. The dam is 278 meters high and will be the highest dam in India once finished.
