B2X Care Solutions acquires Apple service provider in India

Mumbai: B2X Care Solutions GmbH, a German company that provides customer care solutions to smartphone makers, has acquired Mumbai-based The Service Solutions Pvt. Ltd (TSS), an Apple authorised service provider, for an undisclosed amount.

B2X also raised $15 million in a round of funding led by Earlybird Venture Capital.

With this acquisition, B2X will be an authorised service provider for Apple Inc. in India.

“B2X acquires TSS in India; secures US$15 million,” B2X said in a post on its official Twitter handle @B2XCareSolution.

After the acquisition, B2X will rebrand TSS service stores as B2X Care Solutions.

According to market research company International Data Corporation (IDC), smartphone sales in India are expected to reach 80.57 million units by the end of this year and will continue to grow at a compound annual growth rate of about 40% over the next five years.
