Apollo Logisolutions inks pact with PIL arm Singamas for cold chain logistics

Mumbai: Apollo LogiSolutions (ALS) and Singamas, a subsidiary of Singapore-headquartered Pacific International Lines (PIL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly pursue cold chain logistics in India through a joint venture company, the company said in a release. This pact aims to provide cold chain logistics solutions, temperature controlled space/warehouses and temperature controlled transportation and distribution services. Last year, ALS had signed two Memorandum of Understandings with PIL Group of companies. The first pact between ALS and PIL which facilitates mutual cooperation in container freight stations (CFS) & allied services. While the second MoU between ALS and PIL’s subsidiary Singamas to jointly pursue transportation of specialized liquids in India. The third MoU signed now is for cold chain logistics.
