ZEE5 partners with Israel-based AI video enhancement startup Minute.ly

ZEE5, the video streaming platform owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL), announced their strategic partnership with Israel-based artificial intelligence (AI) driven video enhancement company Minute.ly. This service has been combined with the Minute.ly’s AI tool to improve its platform’s video content, maximizing user engagement, improving overall video views and site traffic, and expanding ZEE5’s reach.

With the AI tool, ZEE5 will be able to predict the user engagement, which will affect the video revenue. The company’s patented video optimization algorithm automatically recognises the peak moments from any video on site by analysing the visual content and its performance. It also delivers the insights concerning the user’s interest and helping the content creators to know what viewers watch and connect with.

This will replace the static thumbnails with automated dynamic video preview thumbnails (APVs) by using one of Minute.ly’s AI tools. ZEE5 has improved its overall click-through-rate (CTR) by 37 per cent and expanded its reach as users browse for more content on the website.

This is crucial to best utilize the video content to reach, engage and entertain the right audiences effectively.
