In the last five years, defence exports have increased by 334%, and as a result of cooperative efforts, India is currently exporting to more than 75 nations, the government reported on Sunday.

The second-largest military force in the world, the Indian Defence sector, is on the verge of revolution, according to a tweet from the Press Information Bureau (PIB).

It mentioned the recent commissioning of INS Vikrant, India's first indigenous aircraft carrier, in Kochi.

Additionally, it made mention of the squadron of locally produced Advanced Light Helicopters Mk-III joining the Indian Coast Guard and the successful testing of the Agni P, a next generation nuclear-capable ballistic missile.
