During January-September 2023, India's electronics exports to the US surged over two-fold, reaching an unprecedented US$ 6.6 billion, marking a significant increase from the US$ 2.6 billion recorded in the same period the previous year. This notable growth underscores a shift in the US market, as the share of electronics imported from China has declined. The bilateral electronics trade between India and the US has witnessed an impressive 84% rise, totaling US$ 9 billion, showcasing the robust momentum in this sector. The Indo-US Task Force for Electronics, launched by ICEA in August 2023, aims to propel the bilateral electronics trade to an ambitious US$ 100 billion within a decade.
