Mr. Apurva Chandra unveiled “People’s G20”, an eBook on India’s G20 Presidency

On September 18, 2023, "People's G20," an eBook on India's G20 Presidency in New Delhi, was unveiled by Mr. Apurva Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B).

Mr. Manish Desai, Principal Director General of the Press Information Bureau, as well as other top officers from the I&B and the Press Information Bureau (PIB), attended the book launch.

The book presents the entire journey of India’s G20 Presidency. The book is divided into three sections, with the first section focusing on the monumental G20 Summit that took place in New Delhi on September 9-10, 2023. The book summarises the G20's structure and operation and further elaborates on the initiatives carried out under India's G20 Presidency.

The second section provides an overview of the meetings of several Working Groups under the Sherpa and Finance Track as well as the Engagement Group meetings that have taken place all around the nation in the year since India assumed the Chair.

The eBook's last part features a photo essay of the Jan-Bhagidari activities that were held all over India last year and turned India's G20 Presidency into a movement driven by the people.
