Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan launched a three-year partnership “Education to Entrepreneurship: Empowering a generation of students, educators, and entrepreneurs” with Meta

A three-year partnership called "Education to Entrepreneurship: Empowering a Generation of Students, Educators, and Entrepreneurs" has been launched by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Meta in New Delhi by the Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan. Meta and National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), AICTE All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) all exchanged three letters of intent (LoI).

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the initiative’s launch advances Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's vision of making India a global hub for skills development and empowering our Amrit Peedhi. He added that the partnership "Education to Entrepreneurship" is a game-changer that would take Digital Skilling to the grassroots. This will increase the talent pool's capabilities, seamlessly connect students, youth, the workforce, and microentrepreneurs with cutting-edge technologies, and reshape our Amrit Peedhi into modern-day problem solvers and entrepreneurs.

He continued, "Led by the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP), META's partnerships with NIESBUD, CBSE, and AICTE will catalyse infinite possibilities for empowering micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses for equipping our population with critical digital skills."

Over the following three years, Meta will provide access to digital marketing skills to 5 lakh SMEs as part of the cooperation with NIESBUD. Starting with seven regional languages, Meta platforms will be used to train aspiring and established business owners in digital marketing skills. Additionally, three short videos showcasing the specifics of the collaborations were shown.
