Wipro to train all employees on AI to become an AI-first company.

Wipro, a leading IT company, is prioritising artificial intelligence (AI) training for its workforce to transition into an AI-first organization. With a US$ 1 billion investment commitment, Wipro launched ai360, an ecosystem aimed at integrating AI into all internal processes and client solutions. Ms. Subha Tatavarti, Wipro's chief technology officer, emphasized the importance of cultivating an AI-first culture, with over 220,000 employees already trained in AI fundamentals.

Ms. Tatavarti noted the presence of 55,000 AI practitioners within Wipro who are dedicated to infusing AI across various industries. Wipro has developed a comprehensive training curriculum covering AI, machine learning, and generative AI (GenAI) for employees at different proficiency levels, ensuring everyone contributes to AI advancements in their respective roles.
