Reliance Communications Limited was founded in FY 2002-03 by late Shri. Dhirubhai H Ambani and is the flagship company of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.

Reliance Communications, is India's largest private sector information and communications company, with over 150 million subscribers. It has established a pan-India, high-capacity, integrated (wireless and wireline), convergent (voice, data and video) digital network, to offer services spanning the entire info-communication value chain  covering over 7500 towns and 300,000 villages.

Reliance Communications owns and operates the world's largest next generation, IP enabled connectivity infrastructure, comprising over 150,000 kilometers of fibre optic cable systems in India, USA, Europe, Middle East and the Asia Pacific region.
