Va Tech Wabag wins Rs 175-crore order to build sewage treatment plant in Philippines

Chennai: Va Tech Wabag, a Chennai-based water and waste water treatment company, has won a Rs 175-crore order to build a sewage treatment plant in Valenzuela, the Philippines.

The company will design and build the 60 MLD plant for Maynilad Water Services. The project is being funded by the World Bank, according to a company statement.

The contract includes operation and maintenance for a year.
