Godrej Agrovet is part of Godrej Group, one of the largest Indian conglomerates. The company has interests in diversified agriculture-related businesses. It operates across five business verticals which include animal feed, crop protection, oil palm, dairy and poultry and processed foods. Animal feed is the largest business of the company, contributing over 49.4% of its revenues in FY22. It is one of the largest organised players in India’s compound animal feed market.
The revenue of the company reached Rs. 2,517.5 crore (US$ 315.62 million) in the first quarter of FY23.

Godrej Agrovet would invest US$ 30.58 million (Rs. 250 crore) in an oil palm unit in Telangana in April 2023.
In March 2023, Godrej Agrovet signs an agreement with the AP government to establish an edible oil refining facility worth US$ 12.23 million (Rs. 100 crore). The company already owns a 45,000-hectare oil palm planting land in Andhra Pradesh (AP). The proposed new facility will be built in Seethanagaram, Eluru District, AP, and will have a refining capacity of 400 tonnes per day.
Godrej Agrovet Ltd. has introduced a ground-breaking initiative called Samadhan, a one-stop solution centre for oil palm farmers, under its Oil Palm business.

Punjabi University has signed a research based consultancy project with a leading agribusiness group, Godrej Agrovet, Mumbai. The agreement was signed by university Vice Chancellor Professor Arvind and NK Rajavelu, CEO, Godrej Agrovet – Crop Protection Business Division.
Godrej Agrovet Limited launched Gracia (Fluxametamide, an isoxazoline compound) in the Indian market. It is a patented chemistry discovered and developed by Japan’s Nisan Chemical Corporation and will be introduced in India through collaboration with Godrej Agrovet.
