On October 10, 2025, Paytm launched India’s first AI Soundbox, an AI-powered device for merchants, at the Global Fintech Festival 2025. The device features a voice-enabled AI assistant supporting 11 languages, offering real-time insights on payments and business performance. Built on Android with dual displays and multi-payment support (QR, card, tap), it aims to help SMBs improve efficiency and adopt AI-driven operations. On September 17, 2025, Paytm launched Paytm Postpaid as a credit line on Unified Payments Interface in partnership with Suryoday Small Finance Bank, enabling users to “spend now, pay next month.” The offering provides up to 30 days of short-term credit across all UPI payments, including QR scans, online shopping, and bill payments. Initially rolled out to select users, the service aims to enhance payment flexibility while ensuring secure, real-time transactions for consumers and seamless acceptance for merchants. In June 2025, Paytm Cloud Technologies (PCTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of One97 Communications, incorporated Paytm Singapore Pte Ltd. This move aims to expand and distribute Paytm's technology-led merchant payments and financial services stack in Singapore. On February 17, Paytm announced its partnership with SBI Mutual Fund to introduce the JanNivesh Rs. 250 (US$ 2.87) SIP. The scheme was officially launched earlier today by SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch.
