On January 10, 2024, Paytm announced a US$ 12.06 millioninvestment in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) to create a global financial ecosystem. Leveraging GIFT City's infrastructure, Paytm aims to develop AI-driven cross-border remittance solutions and establish a development centre for innovative financial products and services.

Paytm on October 9, 2023, said that it has launched the industry’s first alternate ID-based guest checkout solution for merchants.

As of August 2023, Paytm Payments Bank recorded over 50 million UPI Lite transactions so far, with over 9 million users.

One97 Communication, the parent of Paytm, informed that the loan disbursals on the platform rose 253% year-on-year (y-o-y) to US$ 1.53 billion (Rs. 12,554 crore) in January-March of 2023.

Paytm registered 430.04 million transactions in April 2021

PayTM Money, a wholly owned subsidiary of PayTM, launched IPO investment services in November. The Paytm interface will allow investors to apply for IPOs through their UPI IDs, which is linked to bank accounts, and can change, cancel and resubmit their bids. It will also be equipped to track upcoming IPOs, view company details, download prospectus and check performance of the past primary market offerings.

In November, PayTM and Marg ERP entered a joint venture to launch an integrated payments solution, called MargPay, for MSMEs. The solution is aimed at solving the problem of payment reconciliation across multiple service platforms such as Net Banking, UPI payments, Mobile Wallets and cards.
