Hero MotoCorp Limited (formally Hero Honda Motors Limited) is the world’s largest manufacturer of two-wheelers. It is present in South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. Hero MotoCorp was the first Indian two-wheeler company to establish a manufacturing plant in Latin America. Its key products include two-wheelers up to 350cc and spare parts.
The company’s electric mobility segment
Hero MotoCorp entered the electric mobility segment in 2020 with the launch of its first electric scooter, the Hero Electric AE-47. The company emphasized innovation and sustainability, expanding its EV lineup with models like the Hero Electric Optima and Nyx. The company is expanding its EV ecosystem collaborating with Ather energy. Over the years, the company focused on improving battery performance, expanding its charging network, and increasing production capacity.

Hero MotoCorp has secured a patent for its inaugural electric motorcycle in India. Named “Project Vida VXZ”, this model was previously unveiled at EICMA 2025.
