A safe, secure world is our shared responsibility: Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi at top Interpol meet

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi stated that there can be no safe havens for the corrupt, terrorists, drug cartels, poaching gangs, or organised crime, and he urged for a worldwide response to combat these threats. He stated that a safe and secure world is "our shared responsibility," and that when the forces of good work together, the forces of crime cannot operate.

Speaking at Interpol's 90th General Assembly, He also stated that corruption and financial crimes have damaged the wellbeing of inhabitants in many countries. In reference to the various countries impacted by terrorism, corruption, drug trafficking, poaching, and organised crime, the prime minister stated that the pace of change for these threats is faster than ever before.

He also emphasised India's reaction to global crises, saying that from climate targets to Covid vaccinations, India has demonstrated a willingness to take the lead in any crisis. The prime minister also stated that India is calling for global cooperation for local wellbeing.
