Adani Green Energy Ltd. has operationalised 307.4 MW of renewable energy projects in Gujarat’s Khavda renewable energy zone, fortifying its clean energy portfolio as it progresses into 2026. The newly commissioned projects, according to a company filing, will begin generating power from January 1, 2026, and are diversified across solar, wind, and hybrid power projects developed through different step-down subsidiaries. The biggest addition is a 126 MW hybrid project by Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Ltd. Other commissions include a 75 MW solar project commissioned by Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Ltd and a 50 MW hybrid unit brought online by Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Ltd. Additional installations were also carried out in wind with a 31.2 MW and 25 MW units, plus a small 0.2 MW wind project, all aggregating to the 307.4 MW additions being made to the operating base of Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL).
This addition takes the total capacity of operational renewable generation by AGEL to 17,237.2 MW, with further solidification of its leading status in India's transition away from fossil fuels. The Khavda zone plays an important part in the wider Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park, critical to scaling solar and wind integration at utility scale, which contributes to both energy security and climate objectives. These moves underpin Adani Green Energy Ltd.'s long-term strategy to expand its renewables fleet across asset classes while supporting grid decarbonization in response to rising demand for clean power in western India and beyond.
