The AI India Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi, is a flagship event that revolves around three key concepts: People, Planet, and Progress. While speaking at the ‘AI for All’ event, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Mr. Abhishek Singh referred to India as the ‘Tech Garage of the world’, emphasizing the growing use of AI to provide jobs and stimulate economic growth. The summit will demonstrate how AI can transform major sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, climate solutions, and manufacturing, helping India achieve its Viksit Bharat vision. AI is not merely a trend but a driving force that has the capability to provide massive benefits for society and the environment, with plans to apply AI knowledge and AI across small and micro enterprises.
Talking about the need for skills Chief Architect at NITI Frontier Tech Hub Ms. Debjani Ghosh emphasized that AI skills are the backbone of India’s AI vision and the key to unlocking the benefits of the AI ecosystem, particularly for MSMEs where productivity gains are most valuable. The event, organized in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry, has the theme of ‘Driving Equitable Growth and Societal Good’. It will be a five-day event, starting from February 16, 2026, where voices from the government, industry, and innovation will come together.
