The Nordic nation's agency for encouraging trade and investment, Business Finland, and India's HCLTech have signed an agreement to work together on generative artificial intelligence (AI), space, and quantum technologies. Through the agreement, Finnish businesses will have access to HCLTech's global eSTiPTM innovation network, which brings together more than 1,500 startups, 14 venture capitalists, 16 trade commissions, and five academic institutions.

HCLTech stated that the partnership strengthens its presence in the Nordic region, where it started working some 15 years ago. The partnership will help the company get early access to emerging technologies and innovations in Finland.

According to Mr. Kalyan Kumar, Global Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems, HCLTech, the company has helped clients and start-ups in their growth roadmap by connecting both parties through digital innovation solutions. Both parties can build a strong business environment to expand and guarantee business continuity by matching cutting-edge technological solutions with clients' needs. The collaboration with Business Finland will bring Finnish startup technologies like Gen AI, quantum technologies, and space technologies to the global market.

More than 700 specialists are employed by Business Finland, a company that supports commerce and innovation, with 16 locations in India and more than 40 offices worldwide.

In order to provide entrepreneurs with useful trends and insights on cutting-edge technologies and to assist them in marketing their products internationally, HCLTech and Business Finland are looking to investigate cooperative efforts.

Mr. Juuka Holappa, Commercial Counsellor of the Finnish Embassy in Delhi and Country Director at Business Finland India, stated that companies like HCLTech are vital for the global growth of start-ups. The aim of this partnership is to highlight what Finnish technology has to offer HCLTech and its clients.
