Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State, Minister of State Science and Technology, stated that there is a shortage of officers in the grade of Section Officers of Central Secretariat Services (CSS).
In a reply to Rajya Sabha, he mentioned that till July 2022, around 8,000 CSS, Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS) and Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) have been promoted.
Therefore, in accordance with the Mission Recruitment, a Rozgar Mela, is being organized by the Government of India to provide employment opportunities to the Youth for their empowerment and participation in National Development. As part of this mission, over 1.47 new appointees have been engaged in various posts across Central Ministries, Departments, PSUs, etc.
