Ayushman 2.0 in works for 400 million mid-income citizens

A senior government official informed that India is readying the Ayushman Bharat version 2.0, which will cater to 400 million middle-income citizens.
Various options are being examined keeping in view the financial implications and the challenges in implementing the plan that would have wide application - on the lines of Ayushman Bharat.
The Niti Aayog and health ministry are working on the contours of the proposed plan to provide health coverage to this section of the population.
