Bajaj Auto total sales up 40% at 5,13,792 units in April

Bajaj Auto reported a strong performance in April 2026, with total sales rising by 40% year-on-year to 5,13,792 units, compared to 3,65,810 units in April 2025. The growth was driven by robust demand across both domestic and export markets. Domestic sales increased by 13% to 2,48,210 units, up from 2,20,615 units in the same month last year. Export performance remained a key growth driver, surging by 83% to 2,65,582 units from 1,45,195 units a year ago, reflecting improved demand in global markets.

Segment-wise, the company’s two-wheeler business continued to dominate overall volumes, supported by steady domestic demand and a sharp rise in overseas shipments. Domestic two-wheeler sales grew by 11% to 2,10,063 units, while exports jumped 78% to 2,29,890 units. The commercial vehicle segment also recorded strong momentum, with total sales increasing by 54% to 73,839 units compared to 47,873 units in April 2025. Overall, the data highlights Bajaj Auto’s export-led growth strategy, complemented by stable domestic demand. The significant rise in exports, alongside consistent performance across segments, underscores the company’s resilience and its ability to capitalise on improving global market conditions.
