Blue Dart and India Post entered into a strategic partnership and introduced automated digital parcel lockers

On November 20, 2023, Blue Dart Express Limited announced that it has partnered with India Post. According to the statement, Blue Dart is offering customers an additional delivery method by collaborating with specific post offices to install automated digital parcel lockers.

Consignees can now easily retrieve their shipments from digital parcel lockers, eliminating the requirement for signatures or personal receipts. It stated, "These Digital Parcel Lockers are easily accessible and maintain the security of their contents." By inputting the given code, the recipient can retrieve the package from the locker. It further stated that only authorised staff would be able to access the packages and that deliveries could be picked up at any time.

To support this initiative, Blue Dart has partnered with Podrones, a last-mile technology and parcel locker company.

This transformative partnership underscores our unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service, providing customers the option to collect packages at their convenience.”
