Bolo Indya partners with Ministry of Ayush; to drive mass awareness on Ayurveda solutions, yoga

Bolo Indya, a domestic social live streaming platform collaborated with the Ministry of Ayush to push awareness of traditional Indian approach of medicines and care such as Siddha, Yoga, Unani, Ayurveda, etc. to boost healthy living among citizens.

Through this partnership, > 10 million citizens are expected to be covered in the next 12 months. Bolo Indya plans to boost numerous initiatives of the Ministry of Ayush in the area of healthy living and would have established yoga practitioners streaming live for yoga training sessions on Bolo Indya platform. The platform plans to engage them with the semi urban and rural citizens. The collaboration would also push awareness about the recently launched 24x7 helpline number by the Ministry of Ayush – 14443 to help the citizens with queries for healthy living.

The alliance also intends to promote engagement for the Ministry of Ayush’s solutions for COVID-19 in tier I/II/III users. As part of this initiative, the Ministry of Ayush plans to conduct a series of programs on the Bolo Indya app under campaigns such as ‘Be with Yoga, Be at Home’ for International Day of Yoga (IDY) (21st June). Bolo Indya’s tier I/II/III users would be able to access the programs at free of cost.

The Ministry of Ayush plans to conduct sessions by established yoga and health experts to guide users about the right postures of yoga asanas and benefits of healthy lifestyle. This initiative is expected to enable the Ministry to cover a large users of Bolo Indya regularly.

 

For the purpose, the Ministry of Ayush has initiated an official handle @MinstryofAyush on the Bolo Indya platform in two languages which is expected to be activated in 14 languages gradually. Moreover, the official Ministry of Ayush profile will also be able to live stream for video content and provide announcements to the requirement of tier I/II/III users.

Mr. PN Ranjit Kumar, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson, Ministry of Ayush said, "This is an added digital medium to cover citizens through regional languages. We expect that the collaboration promotes the adoption of Ayush Solutions among the citizens to a healthier lifestyle and further boost the passion for Yoga in India.”
