BSE registered investor accounts cross 10 crore milestone

The number of registered investor accounts on the BSE (previously Bombay Stock Exchange) has surpassed the 10 crore (100 million) mark. BSE-listed businesses have a total market capitalization of Rs. 2,54,45,122.12 crore (US$ 3.33 trillion).
On December 15, 2021, the BSE reached a milestone of nine crore investor accounts. In just 91 days, BSE added one crore investor accounts to reach the 10-crore milestone. This growth from 9-10 crore accounts is the second-fastest growth rate ever, with the fastest being the growth from eight to nine crore accounts, which happened in just 85 days.
