Cabinet has approved the establishment of the autonomous body Mera Yuva Bharat

Information and Broadcasting Minister Mr. Anurag Thakur informed that the Union Cabinet approved the establishment of an autonomous body Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), on October 11, 2023.
The main objective of Mera Yuva Bharat is to make it a government platform for youth development. He stated that on October 31, the anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth, the body will be dedicated to the country.
He informed that the platform can act as a one-stop platform for youth and initiatives to engage with them. It will further help in two-way communication, as per Mr. Anurag Thakur.
"In the country, there are about 40 crore youth between the age group of 15-19. We have chosen to introduce My (Mera Yuva) Bharat platform for them," the minister declared at a briefing for the Cabinet.
