Country to have 200 crore vaccine doses by December: Scindia

Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, BJP's Rajya Sabha member quoted that 200 crore vaccine doses will be required, for all the citizens of India and would be made available by December. The Centre and states government are constantly working in this direction
He stated that the discussion is being held with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan daily over the COVID-19 situation and everyone is working in a team spirit to make oxygen and Remdesivir available in enough quantity.
He also stated that preparations should now start to deal with the third wave of COVID-19.
The meeting of the crisis management committee was attended by Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Narendra Tomar and others, which took stock of the coronavirus situation in Gwalior and Chambal region.
The central government said that over two billion doses will be made available in the India within five months between August and December to vaccinate the entire population.
