The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and Kyndryl Solutions Private Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate innovation and support India’s manufacturing and information technology (IT) startup ecosystem. The partnership will leverage Kyndryl’s expertise in digital transformation and generative artificial intelligence (AI) to provide infrastructure, mentorship, and AI-driven startup growth opportunities. This collaboration aims to integrate innovative solutions into enterprise ecosystems across key industries, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), oil & gas, and government services.
Under this initiative, startups will receive mentorship on product development, cybersecurity resilience, and enterprise deployment. Kyndryl will conduct advisory sessions and industry workshops to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, in collaboration with Startup India and DPIIT, Kyndryl will provide knowledge sharing, policy insights, and access to government incentives. DPIIT Director Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal signed the MoU with senior officials from both organisations. This partnership aligns with the government’s vision of positioning India as a global innovation hub, enabling startups to scale their solutions internationally and contribute to economic growth.
