Developing infra, connectivity in northeast Centre's key focus: Sitharaman

Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, stated that the Centre is focusing on infrastructure and connectivity development in the Northeastern area, while speaking at the NADI-2022, Asian Confluence River Conclave in Guwahati.
She remarked that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is emphasising the "Neighbourhood First" strategy as well as the "Act East" policy.
She went on to say that the Conclave's emphasis areas are the five 'Cs': commerce, culture, connectivity, conservation, and capacity building. These five pillars essentially encapsulate all of the areas that are important for the Northeast region’s growth.
