Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi launched projects in pharmaceuticals, education, and railways just weeks before the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, saying that these will have a positive impact on the region's progress, which has become a reality thanks to the state's double-engine government, which has ensured project approvals and rapid progress.

According to him, previous governments in Delhi did not care about the aspirations of the people of Himachal Pradesh, in this town after flagging off the high-speed luxury Vande Bharat Express and laying the foundation stones of Bulk Drug Park, which will attract investment of around Rs. 10,000 crore (US$ 1.21 billion) and employ over 20,000 Una residents.

While dedicating the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Una to the nation, He stated that educational endeavours would greatly benefit students. The Bulk Drug Park at Haroli, which will cost more than Rs. 1,900 crore (US$ 229.23 million) to build, will help reduce reliance on API imports. He also set the groundwork for the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)-Una in 2017. Bulk Drug Park can bring an investment of around Rs. 15,000 (US$ 1.81 billion) 20,000 crore (US$ 2.42 billion) and will give employment to over 30,000.
