The National Health Authority (NHA) announced on November 10, 2022 that the second level of integration between DigiLocker and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has been completed. DigiLocker is an authentic documents exchange platform run by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

Vaccination records, doctor prescriptions, lab reports, hospital discharge summaries, and other health documents can now be stored and accessed on the safe cloud-based storage platform of DigiLocker, according to NHA.

Before completing level 1 integration with ABDM, DigiLocker added the option for its 13 crore users to create Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA). With the most recent integration, users can now use DigiLocker as a Personal Health Records (PHR) app.

Additionally, ABHA owners can use DigiLocker to link their health records from various ABDM registered healthcare facilities, including hospitals and labs.
